I used to blog constantly a few years ago when the other activities I was involved in required that I do so. It kept me centered and focused on the task at hand. Now that I work from my house, I've been losing sight as to what my end goal is...to get my work into some shows.
I get all in my head about it, scared of the rejection or of people not liking my work. Well you know what, life's too short for me to be scared of what others may think. I make what makes me happy. Some days it's my rope vessels, other days it's something less complicated like a diaper cake, or maybe I decide that there is a dress I want to make for myself. It doesn't matter what it is as long as I'm using my hands to make something.
That's what this blog is going to be about. Chronicling all of the things that I make throughout the year. I am really bad with keeping track of what I do when I don't write it down, so this will be a good reminder when I look back on this a year from now as to how much I'm able to do or willing to try.
Now if I can just remember to take pictures as I'm working, lol!
